A teenager has now been ordered to stand trial for the shooting deaths of two teens in October that took place in South Philadelphia. A judge on Wednesday has ordered 16-year-old Brandon Olivieri to stand trial on all charges for the murders of two 16-year-olds, Caleer Miller and Salvatore DiNubile. Cherry Hill police responded to the Cherry Hill Mall on Tuesday night for the report of a large group of unaccompanied juveniles causing a disruption. Nearly 1,000 unruly individuals were gathered near JC Penny around 7:30 p.m. Police began to disperse the crowds. They made five arrests including four juveniles from Camden and one from Cherry Hill. Three cities in the U.S. filed a federal lawsuit on Tuesday against the Department of Defense. Philadelphia, along with New York City and San Francisco, are arguing that many members who are not qualified from gun ownership weren't reported on the FBI's national background check system. The cities filed court papers stating that the military's broken system for dispensing such information was one of the reasons for the massacre in a Texas church that left 26 people dead. A condominium complex in Delaware County is on fire this evening. Fire erupted at the Hilltop Condominiums on the 5200 block of Hilltop Drive in Brookhaven around 6 p.m. Heavy flames shot from the roof of the three-story building. Residents were evacuated, but some may have been trapped on the upper floors. The Red Cross is responding to help the evacuees on this frigid night.

Firefighters spent Christmas night battling a fire in Sussex County, Delaware. The fire broke out at around 7:30 pm on Monday in Slaughter Beach on Bay Avenue and Bench Road. Crews say that the fire spread to several other homes on the block. Firefighters say that the fire reached 4-alarms and was still blazing well into the late night hours of Monday. A man was shot to death in the Kensington section after doing a good deed for a neighbor. 26-year-old Elliot Cortez was closing up his shop on 2nd and Westmoreland streets in Kensington. Cortez then helped a nearby store owner lower the gate to his store when two men approached him. The suspects tried to rob Cortez but this is when police say an altercation ensued. A police officer in Cumberland County, South Jersey was treated for minor injuries after someone opened fire on his patrol car on Saturday evening. It happened on the 300 block of East Vine Street in Millville. A round hit both the driver side and passenger side front windows shattering both. The officer was not hit struck by gunfire but was treated for lacerations from the glass. 12 casings were recovered from the scene. Investigators do not think the officer was the target. Thousands of shoppers were evacuated from the Springfield Mall in Delaware County on 'Super Saturday' due to a grease fire at a pizza restaurant inside the mall. It happened after 3 p.m. at the large shopping mall on Baltimore Pike in Springfield in the kitchen of Sbarro's in the food court. The annual re-enactment of General George Washington's crossing of the Delaware River on Christmas Day 1776 during the American Revolution has been saved this year by a group of Philadelphia students and their handmade boats. The crossing was threatened by low water levels on the river making it impossible for the re-enactment group to use their replica wooden Durham boats to cross from Pennsylvania to New Jersey.
