| Philadelphia authorities are investigating after the body of a woman was found in the basement of a South Philadelphia home on Thursday evening, 1/16. It happened around 5:10 p.m. on the 2100 block of Porter Street. The sheriff’s department went to the home to serve a robbery warrant to a female at the property. | A 17-year-old has been charged in the deaths of his foster mother and a man who had recently been reported missing. Xavier Johnson is charged with the stabbing death of 64-year-old Renee Gilyard and 20-year-old Jimmy Mao, in separate incidents.
