| The July 4th weekend was especially violent in Philadelphia. Since Friday, 34 were shot and nine people died. The shootings occurred across all areas of the city. There have been some arrests and some weapons were recovered. A 6-year-old was shot and killed on Sunday early afternoon in Holmesburg. Police say that incident was an accident.
