Police in Millersville, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania arrested a man after finding him naked inside a barn full of hogs on Friday, June 26th. Manor Township police were called to investigate a possible trespasser and discovered 64-year-old Larry William Henry naked inside the barn with the pigs. Democratic mayoral hopeful Jim Kenney has commented on the firing of a same-sex marriage faculty member at Waldron-Mercy Academy. Margie Winters was fired by the school after a dispute over curriculum. Kenney contends "cowardly men" at the Archdiocese made the call. Spokesman for the Archdiocese, Ken Gavin says the personnel decision was made by Waldron, not the Archdiocese.

Police have arrested a homeless man in connection with a large fire that destroyed one business and damaged several others on 69th Street in Upper Darby earlier this week. 54-year-old James Morris was squatting in the abandoned second floor of the Payless Shoe Source store. Morris was inside the store at the time of the blaze. Margie Winters, the respected Director of Religious Education was dismissed for being in a same-sex marriage, something she told administrators about when she was hired in 2007. An independent arbitrator has ordered the School District of Philadelphia to restore a full-time counselor to every school and to give back pay to laid-off counselors who should have been recalled based on seniority. The ruling says the district violated its contract with the Philadelphia Federation of Teachers when it failed to recall laid-off counselors in seniority order. If upheld, the ruling will cost the cash-strapped schools millions of dollars.

According to the Gilbert Police Department, former Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb was arrested for DUI last week in Arizona. The incident happened on June 28th shortly before midnight in Gilbert, AZ outside of Phoenix. The police report says that he was "impaired by alcohol" and rear-ended another vehicle stopped at a red light. This is McNabb's 2nd DUI offense.
