A clogged toilet down the shore helped New Jersey authorities track down a North Carolina man indicted Wednesday for allegedly trying to rig a poker tournament at an Atlantic City casino last year. A grand jury indicted 43-year-old Christian Lusardi of Fayetteville on counterfeiting, theft and criminal mischief charges. Acting New Jersey Attorney General John Hoffman says Lusardi allegedly used some of the more than $3-million in bogus chips during a Borgata poker tournament that had to be stopped when those chips were discovered in play. He flushed a couple million dollars worth down the toilet both at the Borgata and at Harrah’s where he was staying…so many chips the plumbing got clogged up.

A vets on wheels program is rolling through the city of Camden in an effort to help owners get their furry friends the help they need. Stacie Dabolt with the Animal Welfare Association says their mobile unit gives low cost and sometimes free vaccines, as well as spay and neutering procedures. People coming out to have their pets taken care of say this truck is a godsend. In 2014 over 20,000 pets were served through AWA programming and they are hoping their truck will help them do more than that this year. A former employee of Plymouth Whitemarsh High School is facing charges he had an inappropriate relationship with a student, including an encounter in the light-and-sound booth of the high school auditorium. Investigators say 26-year-old Michael Morse, working as an audio visual technician at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School, sent thousands of text messages to a senior at the school, many of those sexual in nature, some sent during school hours. And, police say, the two had sex in the lighting and sound booth of the auditorium in May. Although the student was 18 when they had sex, Morse still broke the law and is now facing a felony Institutional Sexual Assault charge. Morse was immediately suspended, and has since resigned.
