The Roots Picnic will return to The Mann Center in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park this June 2-4, 2023. David Oh announced his candidacy for Mayor of Philadelphia on Monday, February 13, 2023. He becomes the first Republican to enter the field; 10 Democrats are also running. 62-year-old Oh resigned as Councilmember-at-large. He was elected to City Council in 2011. He is an Army veteran and former prosecutor.
