Governor Tom Corbett has ordered an investigation by the state parole board to the find out why Rafael Jones, who is accused of shooting Officer Moses Walker, was out of the streets on August 18th to commit this crime. Jones was ordered to be placed on house arrest on July 25th and to submit to weekly drug tests. Last night a bomb threat was received targeting the popular Trocodero Theater at 10th and Arch in Chinatown. An anonymous, threatening email was sent to news outlets at around 5:40 pm. Police and a bomb sniffing dog searched the area and the theater but did not find anything suspicious leading authorities to believe it was a hoax. They cleared the area at 7pm. Six Flags Great Adventure is combining its animal safari with its amusement and water parks into one attraction that it claims will be the world's largest theme park next year, about 10 acres larger than Disney's Animal Kingdom in Orlando. The popular drive thru safari is ending Sept. 30, but guests will be driven through a revamped safari area next year on park-provided open air vehicles. Authorities say a southern New Jersey man is in critical condition after a fight outside the Jimmy Buffett concert Tuesday night in Camden. He hit his head on the pavement when he fell after another man came up behind and punched him in a parking lot before the concert. Philadelphia rapper Beanie Sigel aka Dwight E. Grant and a friend, Gerald Andrews, were arrested earlier Wednesday morning at 3:14 am on I-95 in Tinicum Township. Andrews was driving when they were pulled over for tailgating and swerving out of their lane. A weapons check turned up some pills, a small amount of marijuana, and a bottle of codeine, plus a gun. A Bucks County police officer is in custody after authorities say he falsely reported he had been shot by a suspect early Monday morning. During a news conference Tuesday evening, The Bucks County District Attorney's Office said Officer Cousin was not injured as a result of that shooting in the lot of the Lenape Swim club and it was a hoax. The District Attorney's Office is recommending psychiatric evaluation for Officer Cousin. The investigating is ongoing.
