The pilot of a small prop plane was killed after it crashed into a wooded area in a residential neighborhood in Doylestown on Tuesday morning, 6/15. It happened around 10:30 a.m. on the 3800 block of Country Club Drive in Buckingham Township a short distance from the Doylestown airport. 79-year-old Martin Sailer Jr. of Upper Black Eddy was the only person aboard the single-engine Vans RV-6A when it went down. A man was shot and killed on Saturday night, 6/12, in the middle of a large gathering of dirt bikes in Port Richmond. It happened around 11:30 p.m. at the intersection of Aramingo Avenue and East Butler Street in Port Richmond. Philadelphia Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who struck and killed a woman in Kensington early Sunday morning, 6/6. It happened around 4 a.m. on the 2700 block of Kensington Ave. 35-year-old Lauren Panas was hit by a white SUV traveling southbound. The vehicle was captured on surveillance in the area.
