A Philadelphia police officer has been suspended after an internal investigation of a questionable arrest caught on video. Police Commissioner Richard Ross has suspended 26-year-old James Yeager for 30 days with the intent to dismiss. He is a 4 year veteran assigned to the 24th district. A man died after a fiery crash into a pool supply store near Quakertown, Bucks County overnight Friday. It happened around 2 a.m. when the driver lost control of his vehicle driving on 309 South and crashed into the Pool Pro store on the 1600 block of North West End Boulevard (309) in Springfield Township. An Atlantic County judge has sided with Margate, NJ, and approved an injunction to shut down sand dune construction in the shore town for a week. Following recent heavy rains, water has ponded around the new dunes. Margate officials say those pools are a safety hazard full of bacteria and have closed numerous beaches. The owner of a South Philadelphia day care facility accused of sexually assaulting two children has been released after posting bail. 53-year-old Duncan Round of Medford Lakes, NJ, posted 10% of $200,000 bail Thursday morning. Philadelphia Authorities say that an off-duty cop who was involved in a multi-vehicle accident may have been under the influence. The accident happened at around 6 am on Wednesday on the 1500 block of North Street in Philadelphia. Officials have said that the off-duty officer hit around 4 parked cars during the accident. Luckily no one was injured in the accident and the officer was taken into the police station for a possible DUI. Police are continuing an investigation.

Authorities have recovered a vehicle believed to belong to the suspect wanted for killing a man in Haverford Township and opening fire on an Overbrook street over the weekend.
