Each August as the Earth's annual orbit takes it through the remains of the comet Swift-Tuttle, we are treated to a dramatic show of meteors streaking through the sky called the Perseids. Named because they seem to radiate from the constellation Perseus, this meteor shower will peak tonight August 13th and through the weekend.

Two men were arrested early this morning breaking into the home of murder victim Connie McClain-Murray in Northeast Philadelphia. It happened at 2:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Murray home on the 2800 block of Tolbut Street in the Holme Circle neighborhood. A witness saw the two men trying to pry open a door and called 911. Police are searching for a driver who fled the scene after striking a teen on a bike in Oxford Circle Tuesday night. The teen was riding his bike when he was struck by a vehicle. The driver then drove away from the scene. The teen was taken to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children with a leg injury. Police say they are are searching for a charcoal-colored Nissan Pathfinder that fled southbound on the Boulevard.

A $25,750 reward is now being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction of those responsible in a drive-by shooting at a Gloucester County, New Jersey Police station early this morning. Reports from the Marin County Sheriff in California confirm, beloved Actor/Comedian Robin Williams was found dead in his Tiburon, CA home. He was found this morning alone in his home shared with his wife, Susan Schneider. Williams was last seen alive last night around 10:00 pm. At this point the he coroner's office believes his death to be a suicide due to asphyxia. An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow. He was 63.

A 27-year-veteran SEPTA employee was struck by a train in Center City this afternoon. It happened around 4:15 p.m. in a trolley tunnel near 22nd and Market streets. The male employee was working on a trolley tunnel project when he was clipped by an eastbound train. He was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital.
