New Jersey State Police announced in a press conference this afternoon that a mother used a pillow to muffle the noise while shooting three of her children before turning the gun on herself. Two children are dead, and a young boy and a woman were found wounded in a shooting in a Tabernacle, New Jersey home. According to New Jersey State Police, all the shooting victims were shot with the same weapon, which is a handgun, and was recovered from the scene. Montgomery County court has sentenced Raghunandan Yandamuri to death for the 2012 murder of a baby and her grandmother. The double homicide occurred during a failed kidnapping in a King of Prussia apartment building. Yandamuri is reported to have apologized for the murders, though he still claims they were not at his hands.

Florida State University police fatally shot a gunman at the campus library early this morning. The gunman had entered the library and shot three students while hundreds of others were studying inside. The gunman emerged from the library and ignored an order from police to drop his weapon. He fired a shot at police who returned fire, killing him. Of the three students wounded, one was treated and released. Two remain hospitalized.

Villanova business student Vincent C Paola was arrested yesterday and charged with an sexual assault that allegedly occurred earlier in late July in Wisconsin. The victim, a Philadelphia resident, reported the assault to police two days later. On November 15th, police issued an arrest warrant for Paola, who was taken into custody by university police. He is awaiting extradition to Wisconsin.

The new gaming complex and hotel will be just outside the centerfield wall at Citizens Bank Park.
