71-year-old former Philadelphia Traffic Court president judge Thomasine Tynes was sentenced today to two years in federal prison for lying to authorities in a broader ticket fixing scandal. Atlantic City's mayor heads to Trenton in search of help after his city lost jobs and revenues as the casino industry struggles. Mayor Don Guardian is slated to speak to an Assembly committee about the city's future and the gambling industry. Erica Ginetti, a high school teacher from Lower Moreland, has been fired after admitting she had sex with a student. The 34-year-old faces a maximum of seven to fourteen years in prison. She allegedly first began flirting with the student when she chaperoned his 2013 senior prom.

A silent "die in" protest was held this afternoon at 30th Street Station's Grand Hall around 4:15 p.m. The group In Defense of Black Bodies organized the event. There was a large police presence gathered in anticipation of the protest. A lawsuit by a woman who claims Bill Cosby molested her when she was 15 years old has moved allegations of sexual misconduct against the comedian from the court of public opinion into the courthouse. Judy Huth's lawsuit filed Tuesday in Los Angeles accuses Cosby of forcing her to perform a sex act on him with her hand in a bedroom of the Playboy Mansion around 1974. She is the latest woman to accuse the comedian of sex abuse, and is the first one since 2005 to file a lawsuit.

Tuesday was Day 6 in the search for missing West Chester University student Shane Montgomery. Home for the holidays, bar hopping with friends, ending at Kildare's, escorted out at closing time without incident. Shane exited the bar, walked south toward home, and vanished last Wednesday night. Red light cameras in the state of New Jersey could become a thing of the past. The cameras are scheduled to stop on December 16th and without the passage of a new law they'll stay that way. No one in legislature has introduced a bill and Gov Christie leans against it. The controversial program seems to only frustrate drivers in the Garden State. Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill was be released from Philadelphia prison today after spending 5 months in jail for violating parole stemming from a 2009 gun and drug case. Meek Mill (aka Robert Williams) was ordered to prison back in July by Judge Genese Brinkley for a 3-6 month term.
