NJ Red Light Cameras Ending; Sexual Motive in Northampton Murder; Hepatitis A in Hamilton, NJ Restau

Red light cameras in the state of New Jersey could become a thing of the past. The cameras are scheduled to stop on December 16th and without the passage of a new law they'll stay that way. No one in legislature has introduced a bill and Gov Christie leans against it. The controversial program seems to only frustrate drivers in the Garden State. Many complained that the yellow lights are too short and they are only set up to make money, not make intersections safer. A lawsuit on behalf of drivers even provided partial refunds to almost a half-a-million violators. The five year program will likely see it's demise in two weeks. Municipalities have already budgeted for that the loss in revenue.

Authorities in Northampton County are investigating whether the body of a Lehigh Valley mother who went missing last week was sexually abused after her murder. The body of 33-year-old Jessica Padgett was found buried underneath a shed of the property of her stepfather, 53-year-old Gregory Robert Graf. Padgett had gone missing after running some errands during her lunch break. After searching for days, Graf confessed to police that he shot his stepdaughter Padgett in the back of the head and buried her. Police believed from the start that there was a sexual motive. DA John Morganelli said last night on HLN that it was "either prior to the murder, during or a desire perhaps to have sex with a deceased body." The investigation continues.

Health officials say that a food worker at Rosaâ€™s Restaurant and Catering in Hamilton Township, Mercer County tested positive for Hepatitis A. Customers who ate at Rosa's between November 10th and December 1st are at risk if they have not been vaccinated. â€œAnyone who ate at the establishment, received take out, received catering from that establishment certainly had a possibility of being at risk,â€ says Hamilton Township Public Health Officer Jeff Plunkett. Hepatitis A is the least severe form of hepatitis but can cause mild fever, loss of appetite, nausea, fatigue, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain and dark urine and jaundice. Rosa's closed yesterday to sanitized the building and throw out unfrozen food. A vaccination clinic should be setup by Thursday.
