Philadelphia Flyers founder Ed Snider has died. Just days after the Flyers clinched a playoff spot. Snider has owned the Flyers since he was awarded the franchise in 1967. Snider had also been a part-owner of the Philadelphia Eagles in the 1970's. Snider has been battling cancer for the last 2 years. Ed Snider was 83.

Police in Bensalem, Bucks County, are searching for a driver who crashed their SUV into a home early on Sunday morning. It happened around 5:30 a.m. on the 2200 block of Monroe Avenue. The 76ers have now named Bryan Colangelo as the President of Basketball Operations yesterday. Colangelo will be replacing the old President Sam Hinkie who quit on Wednesday after only three seasons with the team. Before being named President of the 76ers, Colangelo was served as President of the Raptors from 2006 to 2013.

The body of a dead man was recovered from a car that had crashed into the Schuylkill River early Saturday morning in Philadelphia. The accident happened around 2:30 a.m. along Kelly Drive in Fairmount Park. Police say the car exited the Roosevelt Boulevard south. Philadelphia now has a new fire commissioner. Adam Theil who was commissioner in Virginia for 7 years and was most recently the deputy secretary of Virginia's Homeland Security and Veterans Affairs department will now be Philly's new fire commissioner. Mayor Jim Kenney announced in December they were in the search for a new commissioner, and have now found one.
