A Rhode Island man has been found guilty of animal cruelty for transporting a horse later discovered to be shot over 100 times by paintballs. 65-year-old of Phillip Price of East Providence, RI, was convicted in New Holland, PA, of animal cruelty and dealing and handling animals without a license. The grease pole is back. After nearly 20 years, the spectacle that was once was the centerpiece of the South Ninth Street Italian Market Festival returns this weekend. It's a 30 foot tall steel pole covered with pig fat. The object: climb to the top somehow. The pole is back to stay according to organizers. But if you want to give it a try, you must be 18, sign a liability waiver and pass a Breathalyzer test.

Wilmington Police say a 15 year old boy was shot on the 900 block of Clifford Brown Walk on Thursday. The young man was taken to Christiana Hospital and died as a result of his injuries. A Chester County man has been arrested for allegedly molesting three children under his care. 33-year-old Christopher Guiseppe is charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, corruption of minors, incest and other related charges. Police in Delaware County are asking for the public's assistance in locating a 16-year-old who went missing Saturday. School officials say the maintenance worker who was injured when a boiler exploded at a school in West Oak Lane has died. It was about four months ago when the boiler at the Franklin Edmonds Elementary School exploded while 61-year-old Christopher Trakimas was working on it. He suffered 3rd degree burns and other injuries as a result, and he died yesterday at Einstein Hospital.
