| A Philadelphia man was critically injured in a house fire that happened on Wednesday night in Northeast Philadelphia. The fire broke out just after 8 pm on the 1200 block of Cottman Avenue. Fire Crews arrived on the scene and were able to get the fire out in about 10 minutes. A 20-year-old man was taken out of the building and rushed to Einstein Medical Center after he suffered numerous burns to his lower body as well as smoke inhalation. The incident happened on the 400 block of South Black Horse Pike at around 6 pm. An elderly man was hit while he was on the shoulder of Black Horse Pike.
