A former Philadelphia Police officer was sentenced today to 17 years in prison. Jonathan Garcia would use a confidential informant to help set up drug dealers, which he would then rob drugs and cash from while in uniform after stopping them. Garcia would turn around and sell the drugs, usually heroin and pills. Garcia's partner, Sydemy Joanis, also charged with stealing money but not dealing the drugs, was sentenced today to 5 years in prison.

Upper Darby police are investigating after they say a 67-year-old old man shot and killed a man who attempted to rob him with a toy gun. It happened after 2:00 pm on Wednesday afternoon in Cobbs Creek Park. The man was out for a walk when two masked men, one armed with a stick and the other with the gun, approached him and demanded money. The 67-year-old man had a concealed weapons permit and shot and killed the one robber. He was dead at the scene. The other man ran off. The victim had to be taken to Delaware County Memorial Hospital with chest pains. He is expected to be ok. Upper Darby Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood said that "They tried to rob the wrong guy... I talked to him in the ambulance. He was very upset, very shook up, but at the end of the day, he's alive."

Officers in Bridgeton, NJ may have found your missing goat. Police officer Jonathon Hovermann and Class II officer Jennifer Skala discovered a goat ram just wandering along Irving Ave. near Inspira Hospital in Bridgeton early Tuesday morning. The owners have not yet been located so the animal they've nicknamed ”Burgy” has been taken to the SPCA in Vineland. If you happen to be missing a goat or know someone who is, contact the SPCA as soon as possible. (pictured below)
