The coroner's office has ruled that 93-year-old Jenny Russo died of natural causes following a hit-and-run accident on Friday morning. Russo was suffering from end-stage lung disease and was in hospice care in her home when a pickup truck slammed into her bedroom early Friday morning and drove off. Her family and firefighters moved her bed to another room but she died a short time later. The coroner said that she did not suffer any physical trauma from the accident. Police found the damaged truck in Bristol Borough on Friday afternoon. They say the 20-year-old driver came into Bristol Township Police voluntarily and has been cooperating with them. No charges have been filed yet. Bucks County District Attorney David Heckler expects to review the case and make a determination next week.

Hundreds of motorcycles participated in a special Warriors Watch ride on Saturday night in Northeast Philadelphia to honor Philadelphia's first female firefighter killed in action. Joyce Craig died on December 9th while battling a blaze in West Oak Lane. The group normally organize 'Welcome Home' rides for returning soldiers but wanted to honor Craig. Organizer Tom Jones said they wanted, “To show the members of her family and the members she works with that we care about the job she’s done for our community.” The bikers rolled down the Boulevard, past Craig's home, and ended at her firehouse Engine 64 with a emotional moment of silence.

The Philadelphia Mummers will be lending their support to the efforts in finding missing college student Shane Montgomery. 21-year-old Montgomery has been missing since a night out in Manayunk the night before Thanksgiving. Albert Lancellotti, president of the Jesters New Years Brigade, will be passing out the green ribbons. The ribbons can be seen all over the city especially in Manayunk and Montgomery's Roxborough neighborhood as a reminder that Shane is still out there. Those same ribbons will now be marching down Broad Street on New Year's Day. Shane was last seen leaving Kildare's Irish Pub on Main Street at closing time around 2:00 am. He was last seen on video crossing over the Manayunk canal and into a parking lot near Kildare's. Last week his keys were found by dive team along the banks of the Schuylkill River. There is a $65,000 reward for reliable information. Call Northwest Detectives at (215) 686-3353.
