A robbery in Society Hill last night landed a local pharmacist in the hospital after being shot in the arm. At 10 last night near 4th and Pine a robbery led to gunfire according to Philadelphia Police. The victim is hospitalized in stable condition. The shooter is seen on surveillance video appears to be a man about 5 feet 8 inches tall and wearing a hooded sweatshirt running South on Lawrence Street.

SEPTA officials say an off duty Philadelphia Police officer was stabbed in Northeast Philadelphia Monday night. The incident happened at about 10 p.m. on the 4900 block of Grant Avenue, east of the SEPTA Torresdale Station. The officer was not exiting the station. There is no word on a suspect or motive at this time.

Driver in Fatal Crash had 5 DUIs; Closing Arguments in Kermit Gosnell Case

The driver involved in a fatal crash in Chester County on Friday night has had five previous DUI arrests. Police say 49-year-old Robert Landis of West Chester was travelling at a high rate of speed in his pick-up truck when he turned into 24-year-old Liam Crowley riding on a motorcycle. The accident happened at 10:28 p.m. near Route 202 and Stanton Avenue in Westtown Township. Crowley was taken to Paoli Hospital with serious injuries and died on Sunday night. It's been a little over 10 months since a devastating fire destroyed the popular late night pizza shop Lorenzo's on South Street, but owner Giuseppe "Joe" Pulizzi vowed to rebuild and has. The June 27 blaze tore through the building. Firefighters had a hard time fighting it with no rear access and the painted wood facade covering up the front windows. After a knockout debut in Germany, a musical version of Rocky may be headed to Broadway. Sylvester Stallone produced a musical based on his film which enjoyed a successful debut in Hamburg as "Rocky: Das Musical". Police are searching two suspects in a robbery of a Wawa in Delaware Sunday morning. It occurred at 5 a.m. at the store at 601 Ogletown Road in Newark, DE. They entered the store with bandanas on their faces and demanded money from the clerk, implying they had a weapon. The two made off on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. A soda bottle wrapped up in electrical tape prompted a scare Sunday afternoon at Virtua Hospital in Voorhees, New Jersey. The incident happened around 4 p.m. when someone found the tape covered soda bottle and thought it looked suspicious. Authorities were notified and the bottle was destroyed. It turned out to be a false alarm.

Pleasantville man sentenced to 10 years, FAA soon in full operation

Marlin Williams is a 22 year old man who is sentenced to ten years in prison. He shot a Mays Landing teenager last year. He must serve at least eight years and six months in order for him to be eligible for parole. He pleaded guilty to second-degree aggravated assault. He finally admitted to being the shooter. In addition, he also pleaded guilty for robbing a home in the Pleasantville area and shooting a gun outside his house.

Boy With Toy Gun in Tioga, Bombers' Plan to Target New York, PPL Park Expansion

A child, as young as 10 years old (pictured) was captured on surveillance video in Tioga pulling a gun and pointing at people. The gun turned out to be a toy, however it looked real enough that witnesses called 911. No one was hurt, however Philadelphia Police caution parents to monitor children more closely with toy guns. Collingdale, PA Police are asking for the public's help in locating a woman who has been missing since last Friday, April 19th. Melissa Rodriguez has not been seen or heard from since then.

According to her husband, Jose Rodriguez, she told him that she was going to Newark, NJ to visit friends for the weekend.
