Boy With Toy Gun in Tioga, Bombers' Plan to Target New York, PPL Park Expansion

A child, as young as 10 years old (pictured) was captured on surveillance video in Tioga pulling a gun and pointing at people. The gun turned out to be a toy, however it looked real enough that witnesses called 911. No one was hurt, however Philadelphia Police caution parents to monitor children more closely with toy guns. A child pointing a toy gun at someone who has a real gun has ended tragically.

Investigators have learned that the Boston bombers were on their way to New York to detonate a pressure cooker bomb and several pipe bombs in Times Square. They had carjacked a vehicle in Boston and when they stopped for gas, the driver escaped and notified police. That led to the explosive high speed chase, death of one suspect and capture of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

Owners of the Major Soccer League franchise here, the Philadelphia Union, are making plans to expand PPL Park in Chester. The park opened about 4 years ago and CEO Nick Sakiewicz says things are going so well, they need to add more seating for corporate clients. They also would like to add another restaurant but no construction will disrupt this season which runs through October.
