New Castle County Police are advising teens of a recent string of sneaker robberies in the Newark and Bear areas. Suspects have been assaulting teens, removing their sneakers, then fleeing on foot. Incidents have happened at Weiss Park, Catherine Court, and Martin Drive. Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to call the New Castle County Police Department at 302-395-8110.

A Chester County businesswoman has been charged with stealing over $1 million from her employer. Fifty Nine year old Joyce Hawkins was a senior level employee at ModSpace in Berwyn making $200,000 a year in salary. According to police, Hawkins authorized $1 million in payments to her non-profit organization, "Caring Hearts, LLC" over a 4 year period.

Lower Moreland police have released surveillance photos of men they suspect robbed a man twice in the say day last week. The victim was robbed by two men while sitting in his car in Southwest Philadelphia in the afternoon on April 17th. They took his phone, cash, and wallet. Four hours later four men showed up to a Huntingdon Valley apartment complex presumably following the address found in the victim's wallet. Philadelphia native Jack Ramsay has died. Jack Ramsay played for and then went on to coach the St. Joseph's University men's basketball team from 1955 to 1966. Ramsay became the General Manager of the 76ers and then coached the Sixers to three playoff appearances. Dr. Ramsay went on to coach the Portland Trail Blazers to the 1977 NBA title. Pennsylvania state prosectors have refiled charges against Robert Kerns, the former Montgomery County Republican Party chairman. Kerns, 66, of North Wales, is charged with raping and sexually assaulted a female paralegal who worked at his law firm. Investigators say it happened after driving her home from an office party last October when the victim may have had too much to drink. A forest fire continues to burn in Ocean County New Jersey, the fifth fire that has swept through the pine barrens in the last week. Yesterday, the uncontained fire forced hundreds to evacuate their homes. In all 621 homes were evacuated during the alert from five separate fires.

A forest fire in New Jersey has forced evacuations in the area. The forest fire started at about 11:42 a.m. on the border of Beachwood and Berkeley Township in Ocean County. The fire is reportedly near at least 40 homes. In total, 621 homes were evacuated. Strong winds are being blamed for causing the fire to spread and officials say this is a class 5 fire, the most dangerous type, and is 80% contained.

Widener University in Delaware County was placed on alert this morning after a male shooting victim died just off campus. The alert was sent of just after 11 am by text and email warning employees and students to stay inside. The victim was shot inside his SUV at 12th Street and Melrose in Chester, PA.
