Temple Hit-And-Run Update: Driver Turns Self In, Car Recovered, Rachel Hall Still Critical |

An 18-year-old driver has turned himself into police and admitted to striking a 22-year-old female Temple student and then leaving the scene on Wednesday night. The driver, who only has a learner's permit, came forward Thursday morning and told police her was 'scared' and 'panicked' because he does not have a full driver's license. He has not yet been identified or charged but authorities expect to do so soon.

The NFL draft begins tonight and Chip Kelly may take a run at Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota. But it won't be easy. The Eagles currently have the #20 spot and the draft and Mariota is expected to be the # 2 pick overall. No team has ever been able to negotiate a jump that high to select a quarterback. But this is Chip Kelly's team and Eagles fans know he is willing to step outside traditional NFL thinking.

The Philadelphia District Attorney's office will ask a judge today to send Monsignor William Lynn back to prison, now that the State Supreme Court has reinstated his 2012 child endangerment conviction. The DA's office wants Common Pleas Judge Teresa Sarmina, the presiding judge who sentenced Lynn to three-to-six years in prison, to revoke his bail. A grand jury has returned a murder indictment against Kyle Crosby and his 67 year old mom Jo Crosby of Sicklerville in the death of Crosby's wife, Erica Crippen whose body was found last month along the side of a rural road in Maryland. Investigators found the body of 26-year-old Erica Crippen by using a GPS device in her husband's vehicle. She had been missing since New Year's Eve.

An airplane made an emergency landing at Philadelphia International Airport this afternoon after a fire broke out in one of its engines. The plane made its landing around 3:50 pm Tuesday afternoon.
