Police have arrested a 27-year old Philadelphia man in connection with a fatal shooting that took place in an Upper Darby Barbershop Wednesday afternoon. The incident appears to have been the result of a love triangle. Sharif Wynn was taken into custody just one day after Wynn walked into a barber shop, pointed a gun at barber Michael Turner’s head and demanded money, claiming he went there to scare the victim.

Levon Helm, singer and drummer for The Band lost his battle with throat cancer today. According to family he passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. As a member of The Band, Helm was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and also received the Grammys' lifetime achievement award. The University of Pennsylvania is joining several other top universities, including Princeton and Stanford, in offering courses for free online. Starting this June, Penn will begin to offer twelve courses in various subjects including calculus, neurology, and Greek and Roman mythology.
