A 9-year-old girl was shot and killed inside her home in North Philadelphia on Wednesday morning, 1/20. It happened around 11 a.m. on the 2300 block of Bouvier Street. She was shot once in the head. The child was rushed to Temple University Hospital where she was pronounced dead around 1:50 p.m. The girl was home alone with a 12-year-old and a 5-year-old. Pennsylvania health officials announced on Tuesday, 1/19, that they are expanding the coronavirus COVID-19 eligibility requirements. Phase 1A will now include people age 65 and older plus anyone 16-64 with serious health conditions that put them at risk of developing serious illness.
