A teenage woman is dead and a man was critically injured, in a quadruple shooting in broad daylight on Wednesday afternoon, 2/19, in North Philadelphia. It happened around 3:40 p.m. at 11th and Thompson Streets across the street from St. Malachy Catholic School. School had already let out for the day. Philadelphia Police have made a second arrest in connection to a double stabbing near Chickie's and Pete's sports bar in South Philadelphia earlier this month. 27-year-old Michael Forte has been charged with two counts each of criminal conspiracy, aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and possession of an instrument of crime. A man in his 30s shot and killed himself during a barricade situation in a Center City high rise apartment building on Tuesday afternoon. Police responded around 1 p.m. to the Sterling Apartment Homes on the 1800 block of JFK Boulevard to reports of a man with a gun and shots fired. Traffic was blocked in both directions along JFK. A 22-year-old South Jersey social media influencer has been accused of being the ring leader of a $1.5 million fraud scheme. Kayla Massa of Gloucester City has 338k Instagram followers and 107k Youtube subscribers.
