Cheltenham Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in Glenside on Sunday night, 3/15. It happened just after 9 p.m. on the 400 block of West Glenside Avenue. The 28-year-old man was shot in the chest. He was taken to Abington Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The identity of the victim has not been released. The School District of Philadelphia announced that 30 sites will be serving two grab-and-go meals a day, breakfast and lunch. They will be open between 9 a.m. and noon each day. Several recreation centers will be open to youth between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. and will be providing a meal at 3 p.m. (see full list below).
