New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy and Superintendent of the State Police Colonel Patrick Callahan announced a new Administrative Order on Saturday, 4/4, that will allow municipalities and counties to impose additional restrictions on short-term rentals. iradiophilly will be providing a Live Video Stream of mass and other services throughout Holy Week from Immaculate Conception BVM Catholic Church in Jenkintown, Montgomery County. The church is closed due to the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak, but the parish clergy will still be celebrating Holy Week privately.

Governor Phil Murphy has ordered that all flags across New Jersey be lowered to half staff indefinitely in honor of those that have been lost. The City of Ventnor has closed its beaches and boardwalk until further notice. All 4x4 permits are no longer valid for the beach. Violations will be issued a summons and face fines of up to $1,000 and 6 months in jail.

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf is now urging state residents to wearing cloth masks when going out in public to help slow the spread of coronavirus. On Friday, 4/3, he noted that the federal government and the CDC are readying similar guidance. You do not have to wearing the medical grade N95 masks, which should be reserved for healthcare workers. You can use other non-medical cloth masks or use a scarf or bandana. SEPTA has instituted new changes to increase safety for drivers and riders during the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. Riders will now board buses and trolleys from the back door. Riders with diabilities can still use the front door. Onboard fare collection has been suspended. Protective shields have already been added to all buses for the drivers.
