| Soundgarden Annouce New Album, "King Animal", First in 16 Years |

Seattle's Soundgarden have announced they will be releasing their first full album of new material in 16 years on November 13th. The album is called King Animal and features 13 tracks co-produced with Adam Kasper. Kasper's done work with Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam and Queens of the Stone Age in the past.

He is an all American songwriter and singer, multitalented instrumentalist and works as a motivational speaker and music producer. | Slash's good friend Charlie Sheen made an appearance at Slash's Hollywood Walk of Fame celebration. Although not planned, Sheen gave a speech which ended in a demeaning insult of Guns N' Roses partner Axl Rose. Sheen said, "You know, it’s quite fitting, I think, that Slash is getting a star on the very street that Axl Rose will one day be sleeping on." Two of the biggest live rock acts of the past 30 years have announced they'll hit the road together this summer. Kiss and Motley Crue will both bring their full stage shows each night; it's not going to be like a opening act on this tour. They have selected an opening act for the tour, U.K. rockers Treatment.

Tattoo is Van Halen's first new song with David Lee Roth in more than 15 years.
The song's got a stomping blues rock groove, lots of signature Roth howls along with Eddie Van Halen as razor sharp and on form as VH fans could hope.
The group's upcoming album "A Different Kind of Truth," has Van Halen touring and coming to Philly in early March.
