Pennsylvania has launched a new website that allows everyone in the state to register to be alerted when it is their turn to get a coronavirus COVID-19 vaccine. The 'Your Turn' site allows you to enter your contact information and basic medical qualifying information to determine if you are eligible to receive a vaccine. If you are currently eligible, the site will direct you make an appointment at a vaccination clinic. If you are not yet eligible, the site will alert you when it is your time. "When it is your turn, we will direct you on how to find a vaccine provider. If it is not your turn yet, you will be able to enter contact information to receive updates about vaccine distribution," Acting Secretary of Health, Alison Beam said in a statement.

Philadelphia police discovered the dismembered body of a man inside a trash bag in the back of a U-Haul truck during a traffic stop in Northeast Philadelphia on Thursday morning, 2/11. It happened around 9 a.m. on the 1000 block of Sanibel Street in the city's Somerton section. Police were responding to the report of a burglary and of a rental truck leaving the scene. The body and a weapon were found in the back of the truck. The driver and passenger were taken into custody. No word on any charges. The victim has not been identified, but the home belonged to Peter Gerold, a massage therapist, who ran "Kneading You Therapy" from the house.

UPDATE: Police have found more body parts and evidence in a dumpster behind a shopping center along Bustleton Ave. The driver apparently told police that he was just moving the body.

Philadelphia police are investigating after the body of a woman was found inside a vehicle parked at a gas station on Wednesday afternoon, 2/10. It happened around 4:24 p.m. on the 4500 block of Germantown Avenue. According to Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small, the woman was found partially clothed with bruises on her body and was lying in an unusual position on the floorboards of the passenger seat. The woman is believed to be 20-30 years old. She was found in a silver Chevy Equinox. The medical examiner will have to determine cause of death. Investigators are looking into surveillance video from the area for clues. If you have any information, call police at 215-686-TIPS.
