PA Woman Wanted for Stealing Pelosi Laptop; Loncar's Shooter Was Out On Bail; Biden at Philabundance

The FBI is searching for a Pennsylvania woman who allegedly entered the U.S. Capitol on 1/6 and may have removed a laptop or hard drive from Speaker Nancy Pelosi's office. A former romantic partner of Riley June Williams from Harrisburg saw her on a video from the riot inside Pelosi's office taking a computer and contacted authorities. They said she "intended to send the computer device to a friend in Russia, who then planned to sell the device to SVR, Russia's foreign intelligence service." That plan may have fell through and Williams may still have the device or has destroyed it. Either way the FBI says she has fled. She is currently charged with illegally entering the Capitol and disorderly conduct.

The suspect arrested for shooting a recent Temple graduate who was walking his dog in the Brewerytown neighborhood last week had apparently been released from jail on dramatically reduced bail just weeks ago. 20-year-old Davis L. Josephus was arrested and charged with the murder of 25-year-old Milan Loncar during a robbery on January 13. Josephus had previously been released on bail on December 29. He posted $20,000 on charges of motor vehicle theft and kidnapping and $12,000 on charges of aggravated assault on a prison guard. The bail had been reduced from $100,000 and $200,000, respectively. He posted 10% of the reduced bail or $3,200. "This male was on the street with two open felony cases because his bail was reduced from 200k to 12k," Philadelphia police inspector Derrick Wood wrote in a tweet. "This is ridiculous and another example of bail decisions that are being made without considering the safety of the community. Consequences matter." Police have identified a second suspect in the shooting.

President-elect Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden spent part of Martin Luther King Jr. day here in Philadelphia. The couple volunteered at Philabundance in South Philadelphia, the region's largest hunger relief organization. The Bidens joined the assembly line that was set up outside in the parking lot and helped pack about 150 boxes of food including fresh fruit and non-perishables. They were joined by other members of their family.
