A street mural written in bold, capital yellow letters was painted on Friday night, 7/17, along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway outer lanes near 22nd Street. It reads 'I WILL BREATHE' meant to be an evolution of 'I Can't Breathe' which are the last words of Eric Garner and George Floyd used by many protestors calling for police reform. The mural was created by the 'I Will Breathe' activist group founded by Nasir Bell as an offshoot of Black Lives Matter. Their Facebook group has several hundred members. The City was not informed of the mural's painting. "City officials were not notified of plans to paint this mural before its installation, and we cannot confirm the organization and/or individuals responsible. There are no plans at this time to remove the painting; it will be left to fade naturally," said a spokesperson in a statement. The location was purposely chosen as it sits adjacent to the protest encampment that is simultaneously calling for housing reform and backing police reforms.

Officials in Ocean City, NJ, say that a man's body was recovered on Saturday morning, 7/18. It was found by a fisherman around 6 a.m. in the Great Harbor Inlet between Longport and Ocean City. The Longport Fire Department launched a boat and recovered the body. This is the same area where 24-year-old Jabed Ikbal of Clementon went missing earlier this week. Ikbal disappeared on Sunday evening, July 12, after going into the water to help family members who were struggling in the current. They made it back to shore, but Ikbal did not. The Southern Regional Medical Examiner's Office is working on the identity of the body found today. Ikbal's family has been notified that a body has been found.

The FBI has charged a 20-year-old Philadelphia man with helping steal a bank vault containing $104,000 in cash using a forklift during the chaos and unrest on Sunday, May 31. Raphael Shaw was among a crowd of people that broke into the Wells Fargo Bank branch in West Philadelphia and secured the vault. However, someone came into the bank with a shotgun and scared off them all off. Shaw returned later and helped another person load the vault onto a forklift that had been stolen from a nearby Lowes. Shaw then got into a Pontiac and drove behind the forklift as they fled. The FBI says that Shaw posted pictures online holding lots of cash. On the night of the incident he was wearing a long blonde wig, but a city officer recognized him from his distinctive arm tattoos.

Weather
An Excessive Heat Warning will be in effective from Sunday 12 p.m. until Monday 8 p.m. for the entire area. Mostly Sunny/Partly Cloudy. High temperatures in the upper 90's with heat index up to 110. Stay cool, hydrated, out of the sun, and check on your neighbors.
