Arrest Missing Lancaster Amish Woman Stoltzfoos; No Free Slurpees 7/11; 2x Shootings; Jackson Fined

The Lancaster County District Attorney's office announced on Saturday afternoon, 7/11, that they have charged a Paradise Township man with kidnapping in the disappearance of an 18-year-old Amish woman last month. 34-year-old Justo Smoker was charged with felony kidnapping and misdemeanor false imprisonment of Linda Stoltzfoos. Smoker was arrested on Friday, 7/10, at his place of employment and is being held at Lancaster County Prison without bail. Stoltzfoos has been missing since June 21 and authorities are still looking for her. The district attorney's office said that investigators believe she may have been harmed. Investigators are looking for anyone who might have seen Smoker's red Kia Rio sedan with "distinct spoiler and 'LCM' sticker on the trunk." You can call police at 717-291-4676. There is a $10,000 reward for information to help find her locate her and arrest and convict those responsible.

Today, July 11 (7/11) has been celebrated annually since 2002 by convenience store chain 7-Eleven by giving out free Slurpees. However, due to concerns from coronavirus COVID-19 the company decided to forgo the 2020 celebration. "At 7Eleven, our top priority is the safety of customers, Franchisees and employees," 7Eleven Senior Vice President Marissa Jarratt said in a statement. "Gathering nine million of our closest friends in stores on one day just didn't feel right, but I am heartened that we now have the opportunity to help the communities and neighborhoods that have been the lifeline of our business since 1927," Jarratt said. 7-Eleven has donated one million meals to Feeding America, a national nonprofit. If you have the 7Rewards loyalty app, you would have received a coupon for a free medium Slurpee on July 1.

A man and a woman inside a car were injured in a shooting in Olney early Saturday morning, 7/11. It happened around 2:30 a.m. on the 5800 block of North Hope Street. The 23-year-old male driver was shot in the shoulder and the 20-year-old female passenger was shot in the leg. There were at least two gunman. The man tried to drive themselves to the hospital but were stopped by police and taken to Einstein Medical Center. They are both in stable condition. There have been no arrests.

Two teens were shot and injured in Kensington after being targeted by green lasers. It happened on the 1800 block of Hart Lane. The 18-year-old males were sitting outside when a black SUV pulled up. They saw green lasers pointed on their bodies and then heard gun shots. One was shot in the foot. The other was shot in the foot and the side. The two were taken to Temple Hospital in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.

The Philadelphia Eagles have fined WR DeSean Jackson an undisclosed amount of money after "absolutely appalling" posts on Instagram earlier this week. The team decided not to cut him for the "conduct detrimental to the team" after he apologized, but he'll have to "support his words with actions" to remain on the roster.

Today we have penalized DeSean for conduct detrimental to the team. He accepted these consequences and apologized. In our many conversations with him, it has also been made clear that this is only the beginning. We have discussed a concrete plan for how we and he can heal moving forward. He understands that in order to remain on the team, he must also commit to supporting his words with actions. We have been encouraged by his desire to educate himself, but we all understand that there is still a lot of work to be done. We will continue to assist DeSean in this process, and we also know that all of us in our organization need to listen and learn more about things that are unfamiliar or uncomfortable to us.

We must continue to fight against anti-Semitism and all forms of discrimination, while not losing sight of the important battle against systemic racism."
