| PA Gov Tom Wolf to Announce Next Yellow Counties; NJ Gov Phil Murphy Raises Outdoor Gatherings to 25 |

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf will be announcing more counties changing to the 'yellow' phase of reopening at a press conference Friday at 4 p.m. He may also announce some counties moving into the least restrictive 'green' phase. There are reports that he will announce that ALL counties, including the hardest hit Southeastern region, will move to the 'yellow' phase by June 5. That is two weeks from now. "So I'll be announcing a whole range of counties tomorrow moving from red to yellow and the hope is that we'll also be making some counties that might even be moving from yellow to green tomorrow," Wolf told reporters on a Thursday conference call.

UPDATE: On 5/29, Dauphin, Franklin, Huntingdon, Lebanon, Luzerne, Monroe, Pike, and Schuylkill counties will move to 'yellow.'
Bradford, Cameron, Clarion, Clearfield, Crawford, Elk, Forest, Jefferson, Lawrence, McKean, Montour, Potter, Snyder, Sullivan, Tioga, Venango, and Warren counties will move to 'green.'
On 6/5, Philadelphia, Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lackawanna, Lancaster, Lehigh, Northampton, and Montgomery will move to 'yellow.'
Today, 12 more counties moved into the 'yellow' phase. This phase is less restrictive than the 'red phase' we are currently under, but it still keeps facets of society closed. The 'yellow phase' allows for some retail businesses to reopen to in-person services while observing health guidelines, the stay-at-home orders are lifted in favor of aggressive mitigation, and child care can resume. Large gatherings over 25 people are still banned and gyms, spas, movies, theaters, salons, and other entertainment venues are still closed. Bars and restaurants are still restricted to take-out and delivery. (see graphic below)
New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy announced that he is signing an executive order raising the limit on outdoor gatherings from 10 to 25 people ahead of Memorial Day Weekend. Indoor gatherings are still limited to 10. "If you were looking forward to gathering with your neighbors for Memorial Day cookouts, you may do so," Murphy said. "So long that social distancing and personal responsibility remain the order of the day." The order also raised the capacity for charter and fishing boats, outdoor batting cages, driving ranges, and other outdoor recreational businesses. "However, social distancing must be adhered to. Organized gatherings, for example, must include clear demarcations for attendees and we strongly recommend that everyone continue wearing face coverings," Murphy said.
