Shooting at NJ High School Football Game - Video; I-95 Closed Tanker Fire; Eagles Sign Jay Ajayi

At least two people were injured when shots rang out at a high school football playoff game in New Jersey on Friday night, 11/15, in Pleasantville. Camden High School was leading Pleasantville High School 6-0 in the third quarter when gunfire erupted in the stadium about 8:30 p.m. Around 6 shots were fired. Players, coaches, and spectators either ran for cover or dropped to the ground. A young boy sitting in the front of the stands was shot. He was taken to an area hospital before being transferred to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. A man was also injured and taken to an area hospital. Both are in serious condition. Some people suffered minor injuries in the melee. A weapon was recovered, but there have been no arrests. The game was suspended. A ruling is expected from the NJSIAA on resuming the game.

I-95 in Bucks County was shut down in both directions on Friday night, 11/15, after a fiery crash involving a tanker truck and an SUV. All lanes were blocked between Exits 37 and 39. The northbound lanes have since reopened around 10:30 p.m., but the southbound lanes are still closed. PennDOT needs to inspect an overpass before lanes will be opened. The tanker truck was hauling 4,000 gallons of heating oil. The oil spilled and fueled a massive fire on the highway and even spilled over onto adjacent wooded areas in Bensalem. The fire was extinguished about 10:15 p.m. The driver of the tanker and two people in the SUV escaped with non life-threatening injuries.

Sports

The Philadelphia Eagles have signed running back Jay Ajayi to replace the injured Darren Sproles. Ajayi was an integral part of the Eagles' 2017 Super Bowl run. He hasn't played since tearing his ACL last October while playing for the Eagles in a game against Minnesota.
