The investigation began in May after officials were notified by the state Division of Family Services about possible sexual abuse. It happened around 3 a.m. outside of Uncles’ Seafood on the 1900 block of West Hunting Park Avenue. Owner Ron Clarkson and a witness were closing the store when a white Audi pulled up. The suspect got out, walked to the truck, pulled out a weapon, and then opened fire. Clarkson was hit four times; twice in the hip and twice in the back. He was not robbed.
