A man has been arrested and charged with the Bucks County murder of his wife who went missing nearly 40 years ago. 76-year-old William Korzon was arraigned in court on Thursday, 4/18, on homicide, forgery, and perjury charges. He was denied bail. Korzon now lives in central Pennsylvania. His wife, Gloria Korzon, disappeared on March 6, 1981. The couple lived in Warrington at the time. She was supposedly on her way to work in Horsham the last time she was seen. Gloria's body was never found and she was declared dead in 1997. The arrest affidavit documents numerous domestic assaults, threats, and injuries to Gloria during their marriage between 1968 and 1981. The investigation is still ongoing.

Two people were shot during a home invasion in West Philadelphia early Thursday morning. It happened around 1 a.m. on the 1400 block of North 56th Street in Parkside. The 64-year-old resident and her 54-year-old boyfriend were sleeping in a bedroom on the second floor when they were awoken by gun shots. The woman was hit multiple times in her legs and hand. She was taken to Lankenau Hospital. The man suffered a gunshot to the torso. He was taken to Penn Presbyterian Hospital. They are expected to be ok. Police believe the shooter got in the house through a basement window. "Nothing was taken and the house does not appear to be ransacked," Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said. "So at this time, it appears that the shooter or shooters went into the property with the sole purpose of shooting at least one or both of these victims." Police are unclear why these two would be targeted.

A New Jersey state trooper was arrested on Thursday, 4/18, and charged with possession of child pornography. 47-year-old Jeffrey Reitz of Williamstown is charged with third-degree possession of child pornography. He has been suspended without pay by the NJSP. On Dec. 31, 2014, the trooper and an adult women were exchanging e-mails when the woman suggested that he sexually assault a young girl. Reitz asked the women for a photo of the girl and the women sent an explicit picture. This communication was discovered much later as part of evidence seized during an investigation by the Camden County Prosecutor's Office. Reitz is being charged by the Division of Criminal Justice Financial and Computer Crimes Bureau. He worked in the New Jersey State Police’s Commercial Carrier Safety Inspection Unit. He faces three to five years in prison and a fine of up to $15,000 if he is found guilty.
