Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz has been medically cleared to play and will start this Sunday, Week 3, against the Indianapolis Colts. Wentz has been out since December 10, 2017, when he tore his ACL and LCL in a game against the Los Angeles Rams requiring knee surgery. Backup quarterback Nick Foles took over for the rest of the season. He led the team through the playoffs to their first Super Bowl win. He personally won the MVP. Foles has played the first two games of these season. The Eagles are 1-1 so far this year. "I was impressed with how well he [Wentz] attacked his rehab throughout the offseason," coach Doug Pederson said Monday. "He's done everything we've asked him to do and he's ready to go." Coach said, "We owe a lot of gratitude to Nick Foles, for what he’s done, for what he has done."

Authorities say that a Delaware County man has confessed to killing his father and dumping his body on the side of the road in Lower Merion, Montgomery County over the weekend. Police discovered the body of 59-year-old Robert Coult Jr. on the 1600 block of Spring Mill Road in Gladwyne around 7:30 a.m. Saturday morning, 9/15. He died from blunt force trauma and stab wounds. 30-year-old Robert Coult III has confessed to the murder of his father on West Providence Road in Yeadon. It happened after an argument over money. "In this case the defendant brutally bludgeoned and repeatedly stabbed his own father to death. He attempted to dismember the body, ultimately discarding him in Lower Merion," said Delaware County District Attorney Katayoun Copeland. Coult III put his father in the front seat of the car and drove to Gladwyne where he dumped the body. He has been arraigned and charged with murder. He is being held without bail.

Police in Dover, DE, are searching for a suspect accused of raping a woman on Sunday morning, 9/16. 33-year-old Isaac Pierce allegedly assaulted a woman near the basketball courts at Delaware Technical Community College and then forced her to drive to a parking lot in the 600 Block of Ridgely Street. Officials say he forced the victim to engage in sexual acts, choked her, and threatened her. Pierce is wanted on charges of Rape, Kidnap, Strangulation, Assault, and Terroristic Threatening. He lives in the Dover area but may be in Maryland. Anyone with information should contact the Dover Police Department at (302) 736-7111. See photo below.
