An arrest warrant has been issued for a man who claimed to be a famous DJ in order to gain access to several Philadelphia high schools to talk to and mentor students at the beginning of May. 23-year-old Jerez Stone-Coleman of Brentwood, Maryland, aka Kidd Cole and Stone-Coleman, told school officials that he was DJ Official Silent Assassin and was the DJ for R&B singer Alicia Keys. He arrived at High School for Creative and Performing Arts, Benjamin Franklin and South Philadelphia High Schools with two body guards and talked to students about his career. At least one student felt something was 'off' and searched the internet. They discovered that Stone-Coleman had served 22 months in federal prison for threatening to blow up the DC Metro and then President Obama. He also appeared on the MTV show 'Catfish' pretending to be a famous rapper. The school district filed a complaint. The Philadelphia District Attorney's office filed charges for criminal trespassing and false impersonation.

The Gloucester County Prosecutor's office and the Paulsboro Police department are investigating the death of a 19-year-old man following a knife fight on Sunday afternoon, 5/20. It happened around 1 p.m. on the unit block of West New Street. When police arrived they found the 19-year-old suffering from several stab wounds. He was rushed to Inspira Medical Center in Woodbury and died a short time later. It apparently started as a fist fight between two teens. At one point the 19-year-old went inside and came back out with two kitchen knives. He began to chase the other teen and slash his back. The two fell to the ground and when the 19-year-old stood up, he had stab wounds to his torso. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday to determine cause and manner of death. Police are looking for more eyewitnesses who may have seen the attack. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact GCPO Det. Michael Bielski at 856-649-9716 or Sgt. Kenneth Ridinger of the Paulsboro PD at 856-423-6222.

An argument in the drive-thru lanes of the Fishtown McDonald's ended with one man being shot. It happened around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, 5/20, at the fast food restaurant located on the unit block of West Girard Avenue near Front Street. At one point during the argument, one man got out of his vehicle, pulled a gun, and fired several shots at the 27-year-old victim sitting in his car. The victim was grazed across the chest. He drove off and waved down an officer at Front and Richmond Streets. He refused to go to the hospital. The suspect also fled the scene. Police are looking into surveillance cameras at the restaurant to identify the suspect.
