A ex-convict pretending to be a famous DJ was able to get access to three Philadelphia high schools and a prominent event with Michelle Obama at Temple University this week. Jerez Coleman, AKA Kidd Cole and Stone-Coleman, told school officials that he was DJ Official Silent Assassin and was the DJ for R&B singer Alicia Keys. He wanted to come speak with students. Coleman arrived at Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts, CAPA, on Thursday, 5/3, with two bodyguards. Coleman listened to students perform and talked to the group. At least one student sensed something was off and turned to the internet to search for more information. They discovered Coleman had been sentenced to 22 months in jail for making threats against President Obama and the Washington, DC Metro System. He also was featured on an episode of MTV's 'Catfish' where he pretended to be a well known rapper to scam people for money. Philadelphia School District said, "School district staff improperly approved a school visit. This is unacceptable and will be dealt with accordingly." Coleman also visited Ben Franklin and South Philadelphia high schools this week. The district has filed a complaint with the police, no word on any arrest warrant. He was also seen backstage at the College Signing Day event with Michelle Obama this week at the Liacouras Center.

Upper Merion Police are searching for five suspects wanted for stealing $112,000 designer purses and handbags from the King of Prussia Mall. They work as a group, grabbing as many handbags as possible before fleeing to a waiting getaway car. They've hit a few different times going back to December 2017. So far they've stolen over 40 bags worth $2,500 to $5,000 each. You can see their pictures below. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Upper Merion Township Police Department at (610) 265-3232 or the anonymous tip line at 484-636-3888.

The superintendent of a New Jersey school district has been arrested after he was caught defecating on a neighboring high school's track. 42-year-old Thomas Tramaglini of Matawan was charged with lewdness, littering, and defecating in public. Someone had been leaving human excrement near Holmdel High School's football field and track on a daily basis. Holmdel Police and school officials setup surveillance equipment to catch the perpetrator and captured Tramaglini in the act. He is the superintendent of Kenilworth School District 30 miles away. Tramaglini is now on paid leave.
