Bill Cosby was found guilty on all counts in his sexual assault retrial. The jury deliberated for 14 hours over two days after a two-week trial to reach their verdict. Cosby was charged with three counts of aggravated indecent assault against Andrea Constand. The incident happened in 2004 in his Cheltenham, Montgomery County home. Constand worked for Temple University's women's basketball program at the time and claimed Cosby, who she viewed as a mentor, drugged and molested her. She brought a civil lawsuit against him in 2005 and took home $3.4 million in a closed settlement. Cosby was not charged until 2016, which was campaign promise of Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele. Bill Cosby will be able to remain free on $1 million bail until sentencing. He has to stay in Montgomery County. A sentencing date has not been set. Each count carries up to 10 years in prison, but the counts may be combined. The DA will also seek to recoup the cost of prosecution from Cosby. The defense says that they will appeal. Cosby has been accused of similar behavior by over 50 women. This was the only case that was brought to trial within the statute of limitations. "Justice has been done!" celebrity attorney Gloria Allred said outside the courthouse. She represents some of Cosby's other accusers. "We are so happy that finally we can say women are believed."

Philadelphia Police chased and captured a coyote on Thursday morning, 4/26, for the second time this week. This one definitely proved to be wily. It was first spotted near Penn's Landing. Animal control officers chased it and eventually cornered it under a trash bin outside a South Philly school about 3 miles away. Officers also captured a coyote on Monday, 4/23, in Northeast Philadelphia and released in back into Pennypack Park. This could be the same animal according to the Pennsylvania Game Commission. They say it was exhibiting similar behaviors, such as lack of fear of humans. The animal was put down this time.
