A Bucks County mother has been charged in the DUI crash that killed her 8-year-old son and injured a married couple. 37-year-old Kelly Anne Colbridge of Warminster is charged with homicide by vehicle while DUI, aggravated assault by vehicle while DUI and other offenses. It happened on April 7th around 7:30 p.m. on the 300 block of Street Road near 2nd Street Pike in Upper Southampton Township. Colbridge was driving a Dodge Avenger sedan and crossed the center turning lane striking a Kia Sorento SUV. The couple in the other car suffered serious injuries and were treated at Abington Hospital. Colbridge suffered broken bones and a punctured lung and was treated at St. Mary Medical Center. Her 8-year-old son was discovered in the back of the car. He was taken to Abington then flown to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where he died from his injuries on April 10th. Colbridge had a blood alcohol level of .168. Authorities also found several controlled substances in her purse and vehicle including Suboxone strips, clonazepam pills, marijuana, and marijuana paraphernalia. Bail is set at $100,000 unsecured.

The jury began deliberations on Wednesday, 4/25, in the sexual assault retrial of comedian and entertainer Bill Cosby. The jury is composed of seven men and five women and received instructions from Judge Steven O'Neill in the Norristown, Montgomery County courtroom this morning. Over the two week trial, prosecutors portrayed the 80-year-old Cosby as a serial predator with a pattern of drugging and assaulting women. The defense tried to show that his accuser is a liar that framed Cosby to win a multi-million dollar settlement. Last year's trial ended in a mistrial when the jury could not reach a verdict after 6 days of deliberations. Today, the jury asked the judge for the legal definition of consent. He told them he could not answer that, they've already been given the definitions of the charges they are considering. They asked for and reheard Cosby's deposition testimony during a 2005 civil lawsuit. They also asked for the full statements from the defense's witness Marguerite Jackson, who testified that Cosby's accuser, Andrea Constand, talked about framing a prominent celebrity for money. They will rehear that testimony on Thursday. The jury adjourned on Day 1 after more than 10 hours of deliberations.

Two 17-year-old boys were stabbed this afternoon at a Market-Frankford Line SEPTA station in Center City. It happened around 3:30 p.m. at the underground eastbound station at 8th and Market Streets. One victim was stabbed in the neck, stomach and arm, and taken to Thomas Jefferson Hospital. The other victim was stabbed in the chest and stomach, and taken to Hahnemann University Hospital. They are in critical condition. Philadelphia and SEPTA police are investigating the scene. No arrests have been made and no weapon has been recovered. The 8th Street Station has reopened and normal service has resumed.
