Search For Gunman; U.S. Supreme Court Denies Districts Lawsuit; Cosby Trial Delayed By Judge

Philadelphia homicide detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying a killer who gunned down a man in broad daylight last weekend. The shooting took place on the 1800 block of Oxford Street back on Saturday March 11th. Police released surveillance footage of the incident, which shows the suspect arguing with the victim. It then shows the gunman run down the street towards the pair as one of the pair tries to hold the gunman back. He eventually broke free, firing at the 36-year-old victim several times. The victim was rushed to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Philadelphia homicide detectives. See video below.

The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled to keep a revised map of Pennsylvania's congressional districts, turning down a request from Republican leaders in the state Legislature. The decision comes about as incumbents and potential challengers are sending petitions to get their names on the May primary ballot. The federal court is declining to halt a series of decisions made by the PA Supreme Court that threw out a 2011-Republican made map and created a new map of the state's 18 districts. Republican leaders were "upset" by the decision, they stated that the case was dismissed on legal issues, not the facts. Pennsylvania's 2011 map is considered among the most gerrymandered in the nation. Democrats hope that the new lines drawn will give them a better chance or reclaiming majority of the U.S. House.

The judge in charge of Bill Cosby's sexual assault retrial has decided to push it back a few days after previously rejecting his lawyer's demands for a three-month delay. On Monday, Judge Steven O'Neil moved the start of the jury selection from March 29th to April 2nd. He also scheduled hearings for March 29th and 30th to resolve any pretrial issues. Cosby's lawyers had been pushing to get the trial moved back, especially due to O'Neil allowing five accusers to testify in the retrial. The defense argued they needed more time to investigate the women's allegations and to work on a defense plan.
