An Amber Alert was issued in Mexico on Thursday for a missing Allentown teenager and the man who signed her out of school earlier this month. Authorities have reason to believe they may have fled to that country. 16-year-old Amy Yu was last seen with 45-year-old Kevin Esterly on March 5th. Esterly had previously signed her out of school 10 times between Nov. 13 and Feb. 9. Yu had added him to her emergency contact list as her 'stepfather.' The pair have allegedly had a secret relationship for months. Esterly is married with two daughters. He apparently withdrew a large sum of money before disappearing. He was driving a red, two-door 199 Honda Accord with the Pennsylvania plate KLT 0529. Anyone with information should call Allentown police at 610-437-7751 or 911.

A young New Jersey woman has died after a snowboarding accident in the Poconos yesterday. 20-year-old Euna Shin of Piscataway struck her head while snowboarding at Blue Mountain Resort in Lower Towamensing Township around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. She was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest where she died on Thursday. The Lehigh Valley Coroner Scott Grim ruled the death accidental. Shin had been wearing a helmet and was riding on an open trail.

The Philadelphia District Attorney's office has offered to to drop most of the charges against a man accused of vandalizing the statue of former mayor Frank Rizzo. Wali Rahman is accused of spray painting the words "Black Power" across the front of the statue and "The black community should be their own police" on the steps in front last August. The incident was caught by live television cameras that were setup at the statue following renewed calls to remove it from activists and public figures. The assistant district attorney said the office would like to remove all charges except for a summary offense of criminal mischief. The judge was not pleased saying the DA's office was handing out a free pass. The next hearing is on March 28th.
