Road Rage Man w/ Bat in Medford; Deadly Fire in Strawberry Mansion; Cherry Hill Students Walk Out

Police in Medford Township, Burlington County, are searching for a road rage suspect who brandished a baseball bat. Police have released a composite sketch of the suspect and a surveillance photo of his car. On Friday February 16th around 9 a.m. on Ark Road a single vehicle struck a tree and the driver was ejected from the car. The victim was airlifted to Cooper Trauma Center for treatment. Police are investigating this as a road rage incident that began in Mount Laurel Township. At one point, the suspect got out of his vehicle and displayed a black baseball hat. The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-50s, with gray hair and gray mustache. His vehicle is a silver/gray 4 door sedan with a distinctive softball sized dent over the passenger side rear tire. One person is dead and two more injured following a fire in Strawberry Mansion this morning. It happened around 9 a.m. on the 2500 block of North Newkirk Street. Heavy smoke and flames greeted firefighters when they arrived on scene. A 71-year-old woman was pronounced dead. Two other people were taken to Temple University Hospital for treatment. It was brought under control by 9:30 a.m. No word on the cause.

Hundreds of students at Cherry Hill High School East walked out of school this morning in support of teacher who was suspended. The students marched around the track and around school property. 59-year-old Timothy Locke, an AP history teacher, was placed on administrative leave after discussing his concerns for the school's own security and safety following the recent school shooting in Florida. The in-class discussion upset a student who informed the principal, prompting Locke's suspension. Evidenced by today's walkout, many more Cherry Hill East students support their beloved teacher and are willing to have that discussion. There is a Board of Education meeting Tuesday night.

The Phillies have announced that P Roy Halladay will be posthumously inducted into the Phillies Wall of Fame on August 4th. His jersey number 34 will also be flown at Citizens Bank Park for the 2018 season. Pat Gillick will also be honored as the inaugural executive on the Wall of Fame.

LeBron James answered reporters' questions on Tuesday about three billboards that have been placed along I-480 in Cleveland. The first board shows LeBron's number 23 on a court with numbers 33, 21, 25, and 9. Those match 76ers' players Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid, Dario Saric and Robert Covington. The other two boards simply say "Complete The Process" and "#PhillyWantsLeBron." Chester County based company Power Home Remodeling purchased the billboards. James said that it was flattering and even though he's 33 and in his 15th year "people in their respective city want me to play for them, I mean, that's cool, I think. That's dope."

Philadelphia Eagles punter Donnie Jones has announced his retirement after 14 years in the NFL. He spent the past 5 years with the Eagles.
