Debris Hits Woman In Car; Body Found In East Oak Lane; Eagles Parade Aftermath Cleanup

New Jersey State Police are investigation after a woman was injured when a piece of debris from a dump truck came smashing through her windshield. The incident happened on February 8th at around 2 pm on I-295 in Hamilton Township, Mercer County. The 76-year-old woman was driving her car behind a dump truck, when a piece of debris came flying through her windshield, injuring her hand. The woman was treated at the hospital for her injuries. Police are searching for the truck driver to question him about the night.

Philadelphia Police are investigating a suspicious death that took place in the East Oak Lane section of Philadelphia. Police say they found a 21-year-old man dead in his car at around 9 am on Wednesday near 68th Avenue and 13th Street. The victim, from Frankford, had been reported missing since February 3rd. The victim's death is still being investigated, police say he suffered unknown wounds to the head. Although the victim was reported missing 11 days ago, police say he doesn't appear to have been dead for very long. An investigation continues.

The Philadelphia Streets department is asking for the public's help as they work to put the city back to normal from all the trash that accumulated from the parade a week ago. Officials say that following the parade, crews picked up nearly 70 tons of bottles, wrappers, confetti and more trash from the streets and trashcans. Officials are asking for the public's help in picking up any remaining trash that may be lying around the city or near their homes. Some city groups have held cleanup days to help pitch in with the help. The Streets Department Commissioner Carlton Williams stated that this is the largest amount of solid waste picked up from any event in the history of Philadelphia. Williams is asking residents to call 3-1-1 so officials can track any litter complaints.
