Two men have been arrested for stealing a walker belonging to a young Delaware girl suffering from cerebral palsy. 51-year-old Leland Watson and 49-year-old Donald Cole are charged with theft and conspiracy. Watson was also charged with possession of heroin. It happened on Thursday, November 30th on the unit block of North Rodney Drive in New Castle County. Brittany Murray wheeled her 10-year-old daughter Kirsten Edwards-Alexander out to the car. She pulled away leaving behind the girl's custom blue, 3-ft walker out front of their house. Murray called her husband when she realized she had left it, but it was already gone when he went to check. Video from a neighbor's camera shows a white pickup pull up shortly after Murray pulled away. A man got out of the passenger side, grabbed the walker, and put it in the back of the truck. Tips from the public helped police locate the vehicle on the unit block of Robinson Drive. Watson is the vehicle's owner. Unfortunately, Murray says the walker has already been scrapped.

The homeless good samaritan who used his last $20 to help a stranded NJ woman has now purchased a new home. Johnny Bobbitt Jr. used some of the money raised from a gofundme campaign started by Kate McClure and her boyfriend Mark. Johnny updated the page saying, "Just wanted to let you all know that thanks to all of you and with the help of Kate and mark I was able to purchase MY NEW HOME yesterday!" The campaign has raised over $398,000. In addition to purchasing the home, Bobbitt announced plans to create several trusts for the funds to keep him secure through the years and into retirement with the help of an accountant and lawyer. He also wants to buy his dream car - a 1999 Ford Ranger - and make donations to other organizations.

A 61-year-old woman was rescued by a group of rowers after her car plunged into the Schuylkill River on Tuesday evening. It happened around 5:30 p.m. on the 200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive near the Strawberry Mansion Bridge. The rowers managed to rescue the woman from the submerged car and bring her to safety. She was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and is in stable condition. No word on how she ended up in the river in the first place.
