The body found in the Schuylkill River near the Walnut Street bridge on Thursday has been identified. The medical examiner says the victim is local entrepreneur 58-year-old Philip Reitnour. Reitnour and business partner Jason Friedberg appeared on ABC's Shark Tank in 2014. They were seeking funding for their personal safety app "Emergensee." The app allows users to stream live video, audio, and GPS info to Emergensee personnel and personal contacts during an emergency situation for a monthly subscription. They did not get any funding from the sharks, but Reitnor has said the show gave the company valuable exposure. The medical examiner has not ruled on cause or manner of death. Court records show that Reitnor was $3 million in debt and was being sued.

Police in Cumberland County, New Jersey are searching for a group of suspects who broke into an elementary school and stole thousands worth in technology. It happened on Monday night October 9th at Gloria M. Sabater Elementary on the 300 block of SE Boulevard in Vineland. The young people were caught on surveillance cameras. (see photo below). They made off with 20 iPads and other items. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Vineland Police at 856-691-4111 x4139 or 856-691-4111 x4181 or anonymously at 856-691-0345.

A 30-year-old man was found stabbed multiple times in a Northern Liberties recording studio early on Saturday morning. Police were called to Superior Sound Studios at 444 N. Third St. at about 7:30 a.m. The man was found in the basement of the building. His identity has not been released. The man was pronounced dead around 8:10 a.m. No arrests have been made.

UPDATE: The victim was also shot as well as stabbed. Police found a bloody screwdriver and shell casings near the body. Studio owner Don 'Groove' Hinton has not been able to comment other than he is trying to find out what has happened himself and is distraught over the events.

UPDATE: The victim has been identified as Philadelphia producer/song writer Robert Slocum.
