Wanted Limerick Shooter Found Dead; Murder Victims Remembered; Funeral Director Took Corpse Photos

30-year-old Greg Feldman, wanted for shooting his ex-girlfriend's mother in Limerick on Friday, was found dead on Monday night. Feldman took his own life in a Wawa parking lot in Schuylkill Twp., Chester County. He died of a self inflicted gun shot wound inside of a parked car. A $1,000 reward was announced on Monday for information leading to the arrest of Feldman of Harleysville, Montgomery County. On Friday around noon, Feldman went to his ex-girlfriend's home in Limerick. Her 48-year-old mother answered the door and told him he shouldn't be there. Feldman then shot her in the neck and chest and took her phone. The mother was taken to the hospital. She is in stable condition and is expected to survive. Feldman was reached later that day on that cellphone. He told his ex-girlfriend, "I wanted you to feel my pain."

Monday was National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims. Families of several dozen homicide victims from Philadelphia and the surrounding area gathered on the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art on Monday night. Framed pictures of those victims were placed on the steps and their names were read aloud. The event was organized by the National Homicide Justice Alliance. It is meant to help families mourn and heal by coming together. Many of those homicides have gone unsolved. It also called attention to the increasing level of violence in the city. Philadelphia has seen 222 homicides to date in 2017.

A Pennsylvania funeral director is facing charges after she allegedly took cellphone pictures of corpses to "gross out" her friends and family. 27-year-old Angeliegha Stewart of East Strousburg is charged with abusing corpses. She is also charged with selling marijuana after Monroe County detectives discovered drug deal conversations when they searched her phone. They began their investigation after there were rumors of the corpse photos last month. Stewart took pictures of one corpse in the process of organ harvest. Another corpse was in the process of decomposition. Some were in caskets and others were not. Authorities were still trying to identify the bodies.
