A Bucks County man convicted of sexually assaulting six young sisters was sentenced this afternoon. 52-year-old Lee Kaplan of Feasterville was sentenced to 30 to 87 years in prison. He was convicted on multiple counts of child rape, statutory sexual assault and other charges. The girl's parents 'gifted' their 9 daughters to Kaplan for helping them financially and spiritually as they broke from their Amish church and community. Kaplan fathered two more girls with the oldest sister starting when she was 14 and convinced the others they were all his wives. The parent's were sentenced to seven years in prison earlier this summer for child endangerment.

A young woman on the train stepped in to defend the girls and the teens turned on her. The woman was physically attacked, punched, and kicked. They also stole her cellphone. The group got off the train at City Hall. Anyone with information is asked to contact SEPTA Police at 215-580-8111.
