Teen and Baby Found Safe; Photographers Rescued Ben Franklin Bridge; Teen Brothers Petition Charges

A teenage girl and her infant baby have been found safe after they were missing for three weeks. 16-year-old Lamaya Green and 2-month-old Amiliana Green have been missing since July 4th. They disappeared from a group home run by Child Services. They were staying there by court order. The pair was located shortly after a police press conference this morning about the search. The two were found safe and healthy. No word on where they were located.

The Ben Franklin Bridge was closed for over 1 Â½ hours overnight as authorities had to rescue two men who climbed the cables to the tower to take photos. The Delaware River Port Authority's intrusion detection system went off at 12:50 a.m. The bridge was closed from 1:17 a.m. to 2:55 a.m. The Delaware River Port Authority, the Philadelphia Fire Department and the Philadelphia Police Marine Unit responded. Members of the Port Authority's high-angle rescue team scaled the cable to rescue the two men who were stuck. Martin J. Romero-Clark from New York and Andrew Lillibridge from Toledo, Ohio are self described urban photographers. They are charged with criminal mischief, interference with transportation, causing or risking widespread injury or damage. They have been released pending a hearing in Camden, NJ.

On Monday afternoon, two teenage brothers hand delivered a petition with over 5,000 signatures to the Philadelphia District Attorney's office in Center City. Anthony and Nicholas Dempsey, with help from Attorney Nick Mattiacchi, are asking new interim DA Kelley Hodge to file charges in the shooting death of their mother August Dempsey and Robert DePaul. 42-year-old Dempsey and 45-year-old DePaul, a father of four, were shot in the back of the head last week outside of DePaul's home on the 4700 block of James Street in Frankford by the next door neighbor. The neighbor said he shot the pair out of self defense. He says there had been an argument and the two scaled his fence, so he shot. The neighbor was briefly taken into custody and released and is back in his home. The neighborhood is questioning why there aren't charges. Philadelphia police say that they have concluded their investigation and handed it all to the DA's office. The DA's office says their investigation is still on-going.
